Pampered By Mr President!

Chapter 96 - Don’t Thank Me. Just Stay By My Side

Chapter 96: Don’t Thank Me. Just Stay By My Side

Mu Siyin let out a long sigh of relief when she was discharged from the hospital. “The air out here is the best.”

The hospital was really a very depressing place for her.

“Let’s go.” Shi Beiyu lifted his hand to pat Mu Siyin’s long hair that blew with the wind. His eyes were full of adoration as he pulled her into the car.

At the driver’s seat, Yan Ze shook his head and sighed. Their Young Master looked like he had lost himself for his new girlfriend.

Shi Beiyu’s workaholism was nowhere to be found. Not only did he postpone the shareholder’s meeting, but he was also late to work and early to leave. This was seemingly how a president should be.

Yan Ze pitied himself. Besides working overtime at the company, he still had to serve as the couple’s chauffeur!

He felt so alone in his entire life.

As soon as Mu Siyin got into the car, Shi Beiyu instantly pulled her onto his lap.

She coughed lightly and blushed before saying, “What are you doing?”

Yan Ze was there.

It was not good to be overly affectionate in public.

Shi Beiyu raised his eyebrow and lifted his lips. As he pressed her down against his chest, he lowered his voice and said gently, “You can sleep here for a while.”

Mu Siyin’s ear rested directly above his heart. As she listened to his steady heartbeat, warmth rushed into her heart.

At that moment, his heartbeat was the most beautiful thing she had ever heard.

She unconsciously lifted her arms to give him a tight embrace.

The satisfaction she felt was indescribable.

The universe was enormous, but Shi Beiyu and her were destined to end up together.

“Thank you…”

She whispered abruptly.

Shi Beiyu was enjoying the moment when she thanked him, and he instinctively frowned. “Why are you thanking me?”

Mu Siyin came back to her senses and immediately felt self-conscious. She then raised her eyes to look into his. “Thank you for fulfilling my request and for taking care of me.”

Upon hearing so, Shi Beiyu narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked deeply back into hers. “Don’t thank me. Just stay by my side.”

Mu Siyin smiled and nodded without hesitation. “Okay.”

Yan Ze wanted to kill himself. Could they not demonstrate their affection everywhere they went? Had they thought about how lonely they made him feel?

The kitchen had already made dinner by the time they arrived at Shi Beiyu’s private villa. The dishes mostly consisted of Mu Siyin’s favorites.

Uncle Zhong shook his head to see how gentle Shi Beiyu was holding Mu Siyin’s hand. It was as if she were his treasure.

Love was here for their Shi Beiyu, and no one could stop it.

He only hoped that the couple was strong enough to defeat reality.

Upon realizing that Uncle Zhong was staring at her, Mu Siyin met his gaze and smiled. “Take a seat, Uncle Zhong. Do you want to dine with us?”

Uncle Zhong felt guilty, so he quickly shook his head and waved his hand. “It’s fine. I’ve already eaten. You two should eat now.”

After that, he turned around and scurried away.

Mu Siyin looked at Shi Beiyu with confusion. “Why do I feel like Uncle Zhong looks at me weirdly every time?”

Shi Beiyu raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

“Yeah! That got me thinking if he knew me before this.”

Shi Beiyu paused for a moment before he replied, “Don’t overthink. He definitely has not met you before.”

“Is that true?”

“Come, the dishes are getting cold.”

“…”

Once the couple had finished their dinner, Shi Beiyu’s phone suddenly rang.

He took it out and narrowed his eyes when he saw the caller ID.

Mu Siyin stole a glance at his phone but did not manage to see who it was.

“I’ll head over to the living room first. Go ahead and answer your phone.”

Shi Beiyu nodded his head and left with his phone. However, he continued walking until he reached a spot where she could not see him.

This made Mu Siyin frown. Who was the caller for him to act so mysteriously?
