Chapter 1063 The Other Rooms Part 3

At this moment, Rain was having a bit of an issue. Two of her new roommates were perfectly fine and acted normal, but one of them…. “Rain, do you like this kind of tea? My father got it for me from the hellscape region. It was very expensive, please try some.”

Rain held the teacup in her hands as she watched as a purple haired girl with tanned skin and pointy ears walked over and sat on her bed, and hooked her arm around hers. She did not understand what this young woman named Mika wanted. “Umm… Mika?”

“Rain, you smell very good….” Mika hugged Rain’s arm tighter and rested her head on Rain’s shoulder as if it was natural.

Rain was at a loss of what to do. The girl was not trying to harm her, but she was acting quite weird. She turned and looked at her other two roommates, Jen and Kyale, but they both looked in the other direction. Rain sighed as she finally asked. “Mika, do you like me or something?”

“Mhmm! I never thought I would like another girl, but as soon as I set eyes on you, my heart began to beat fast, and my palms became sweaty. It was love at first sight!” Mika answered honestly, even if her cheek were beat red.

“I see….” Rain sighed as she gently pulled her arm from Mika and turned Mika to face her. “Mika, I have had children and have many grandkids. There has only ever been one person in my heart for hundreds of years. Although he has passed away, I can never and will never forget him, so falling in love….”

Rain’s words were cut off as Mika pressed her finger against them and shook her head. “Love is something that will always start one sided. I never expected you to accept me right away. After all, I fell in love with you at first sight, and we have known each other for only a few hours. So I do not expect anything in return. I also do not wish to take away your memories of your lost loved one, but I do hope that maybe one day, I can take up a spot in your heart, even if it is small. Until then, enjoy me spoiling you with everything I have!”

Mika threw her arms around Rain and hugged her tightly, leaving Rain speechless. She had never met someone like this before! Rain sighed and decided to just take things in stride. She was sure that in a few days that Mika, after not getting any return towards her feelings, would give up.

In another room, Angelica was sitting on her bed with a pile of books surrounding her. She had long ignored the world around her even though her three roommates were standing in front of her. “What should we do? She is completely no longer in this world.”

“We can only wait until she is done reading…..”

“But shouldn’t we at least introduce ourselves?”

“Well, I think it might be good to just leave her be. Maybe she is someone who likes to be alone?”

“Then we will wait for her to speak to us.” Right as the girl finished speaking, a bang was heard causing the girls to look over toward Angelica, who was now looking at them.

Angelica smiled as she bowed her head slightly and apologetically said: “Sorry, I am someone who, once they start reading, zone out. My name is Angelica. As you can see, I like to read.”

“Ah! Don’t worry. We had figured as much. Ummm… My name is Jill, this here is Samie, and next to her is Ulia.” Jill introduced everyone quickly because she saw Angelica reaching for another book.

“Mmm…..” Angelica had already opened the next book. It was not that she was trying to be rude but more of an obsessive compulsive disorder. If she sees books, she must read them. Of course, this does not count for when she is with her family because she will always put them first, but around strangers, this was just how she was.

“Ah…. we lost her…. We should ummm… forget the party…” Jill sighed. They had planned to have a welcoming party but seeing their new roommate lost in her own world reading books took the fun out of it all.

“But I already invited the boys…” Samie felt a little distressed. She already called over four boys already!

“Samie, we are here!” A young man walked into the room, followed by three others. “You have no idea how hard it was to make it here. We had to sneak past that one room where this scary girl was staying. I never felt so much blood lust before!”

“Yeah, it was really scar…. Is this your new roommate?” Another young man asked as he stared at Angelica, who was in her own world. His eyes lit up seeing this beautiful girl who was sitting cross-legged on her bed quietly. He had a thing for quiet girls like this. He found himself already making his way over to the bed.

“Wait, Zack! I wouldn’t bother her….. Ah!” Jill cried out when she suddenly saw a ghostly sword stab out into Zack’s head. His entire body convulsed before falling to the ground. The strange thing was that Zack had only touched her shoulder when the sword suddenly appeared and destroyed his soul. No blood, no nothing. Just a blank expression as his body crumbled to the ground. Angelica never even looked up once from her book. It was as if nothing had happened.

“He’s dead!” Ulia was shocked. She never thought this would happen!

“I was trying to tell him! Why did he have to do that!? Our new roommate is not someone we can mess with! I told you, girls, earlier about what happened during the entrance examination!” Jill yelled out. She did not know why Samie did not warn the guys. This was also why she was tiptoeing around her new roommate.

“Ah!” Samie suddenly remembered what Jill had told them earlier and realized this was all her fault! “You guys should retur….”

Samie was cut off as one of the young men drew his sword. “You damn bitch! You killed my brother!”
