Victory and defeat had been decided.

Sighs filled the hall and outside.

The olive branch above Su Ye’s head turned into a ray of light and fused into his body.

Su Ye did not smile, nor did he have any expression. He was so calm that it was somewhat terrifying.

He turned his head to look at his classmates outside the door and said calmly, “I am only happy because I defeated my enemy, and not because I won my classmates. I hope that after today, we will remember that the star of this arbitration trial is Feynman’s technique, and not either Carlos or myself. The reason why I was able to stop Carlos from trampling on me is because of my method, not my hard work.”

After saying that, Su Ye bowed to the teachers and students outside the door. He turned around and bowed to the highest seats. Then, he bowed to the teachers on the left and right respectively. Finally, he walked out.

It was not until Su Ye walked to the door that Hort finally reacted and clapped with all his might.

The people in front of him clapped while they parted like the tide, making way for Su Ye.

The eyes of each person who clapped were like stars.

Su Ye thanked everyone and walked to the cafeteria with his magic book in his hand.

He was too hungry.

Everyone was still looking at Su Ye’s back and clapping hard.

Behind Su Ye, the sky was full of stars.

Cromwell watched Su Ye disappear into the night and looked at Carlos, who was collapsed on the ground. He lowered his eyes and said, “The results of this arbitration have been announced. I judge that Feynman’s technique belongs to Su Ye, and Carlos stole the achievements of others for his own selfish desires. He framed him and went against the spirit of magic. Therefore, the Congress of Magic will forever bar him from joining, and the official members of the Congress of Magic will not be allowed to accept him as their disciple. The arbitration has concluded. If there are any objections, you can apply to the great cabinet for a trial.”

As he spoke, Cromwell rose to his feet, holding the evergreen sceptre in his hand as he slowly walked away.

As Cromwell walked away, the teachers and students from the Plato Academy suddenly felt a bit of sympathy for him.

This saint-level master wasn’t much better off than Carlos today.

Master Larence rose to his feet. “Regarding the Academy’s punishment for Carlos, it will be officially announced tomorrow. The meeting is adjourned.”

Everyone left one after another.

It was only then that the students realized that they were hungry, so they walked towards the cafeteria together.

Along the way, each team was like an endless stream of firecrackers, crackling non-stop.

They were too excited; they didn’t expect to encounter such an exciting scene.

Especially the commoner students, all of them were in high spirits.

Because some of the nobles received education that far surpassed what the commoners had, even if the commoner students had some talent, they were still inferior to the nobles for a long time.

Therefore, even if this was not a noble academy, the nobles still suppressed the commoners.

This time, Su Ye was actually able to completely defeat a noble. Furthermore, this was accomplished even with the arbitrator supporting the noble. This matter was enough to become a topic of conversation for several months.

The noble students were polarised to an extreme extent.

Some people thought that Su Ye did a good job. Even if Su Ye was a commoner, he was still a fellow classmate, and the results should be protected.

Another group thought that Su Ye was too cruel and should not have treated a noble like this. Carlos had only made a small mistake, so he should just forgive him. Now, it would cause the school to persuade Carlos to leave. This would be a huge blow to Carlos.

There were also nobles who blamed Rolon. They thought that Rolon had abandoned the honor of being a noble for a commoner.

Another group of noble students praised Rolon for sticking to the noble spirit.

Therefore, the two sides started a war of words. In the end, they actually agreed to go to the arena and had a very unseemly private competition.

The commoner students did not go to the cafeteria anymore. They happily went to the arena to watch. This was the first time they were watching a large-scale internal conflict among the nobles in Plato Academy. Therefore, they secretly swore in their hearts that in the future, if Su Ye was in trouble, they would try their best to help him.

After Su Ye finished eating, he walked home. Along the way, all the students warmly greeted him.

Moreover, there was something that they did not have before.

Respect.

In the eyes of the first-year students, besides respect, there was also a tinge of reverence.

Su Ye was simply the most standard Plato in their hearts.

Su Ye read the magical letters along the way. Hundreds of students sent magical letters hoping to make friends with him. There were even female students who took the initiative to ask him out on a date.

“Hehe, dating isn’t as fun as studying,” Su Ye rejected all the female students without hesitation.

When he was almost home, Su Ye put away the magic book and looked up. A very narrow carriage was parked in front.

The carriage was completely black. There were many brown scratches on its surface, making it look very tattered.

However, Su Ye could feel the surging magic power from inside the carriage.

It was not an ordinary magic carriage, but a particularly powerful magic tool.

Su Ye’s expression changed slightly.

Just a magic carriage would not cause Su Ye to be like this.

What triggered Su Ye’s change in expression was a red-skinned egg sprinkled with white sugar.

Su Ye’s eyes moved, and he scanned his surroundings from the corner of his eyes. Then, he decisively opened the magic book again and skilfully selected the three-dimensional image of Plato.

“The kind and benevolent Master Cromwell, killing me won’t solve the problem. Everything can be discussed.”

Su Ye had a harmless and kind smile on his face. His half-joking tone made him look like an innocent child.

Su Ye believed that no matter how stupid Cromwell was, he would not come to kill him before the smell of the olive branch between the fingers of the high priestess of the Goddess of Wisdom had dissipated.

However, Cromwell had to prevent Su Ye from making things difficult for him in the future.

Cromwell put on a fake smile and said, “Your performance in the meeting hall was quite good.”

Su Ye chuckled. “You praised my performance, which proves that I’m very smart. Since I’m very smart, it means that I won’t make mistakes. For example, a mistake like hindering a kind, benevolent, and incomparably powerful saint-level master like yourself; I would never make such a mistake.”

Su Ye once more felt that he had the potential to be an ambitious person.

“Are you sure?” Cromwell said.

“I can swear in the name of my most beloved teacher, Niedern. I swear!” Su Ye had a serious look on his face.

“Then what do you mean by displaying Plato?” Cromwell asked.

“I’m just a puny Magic Apprentice. If I didn’t have the support of Plato, I probably wouldn’t be able to suppress the respect in my heart for you. I wouldn’t even be able to stand,” Su Ye said.

Cromwell suddenly burst out laughing. “Do you think that I, a saint-level master, would be so disrespectful to the Temple of Wisdom? You think I would come cause trouble for you in the legendary realm of Plato? Master Plato will strike before I do.”

“Is the legend true? Does the legendary realm of Master Plato really cover the entire city of Athens?” asked Su Ye.

“Plato might not care about normal students, but a student like you, once attacked by a high-level, will definitely trigger his legendary realm. Of course, if you die at the hands of someone of the same level, Master Plato won’t blame anyone,” said Cromwell.

“Then I’m relieved. Thank you for your reminder,” Su Ye then closed the magic book.

Su Ye added, “Look, I trust you so much.”

Cromwell shook his head. “I didn’t expect that you would have such a deep misunderstanding of me.”

Su Ye immediately said modestly, “I did indeed have a misunderstanding of you. After all, I’m just a child. I’ll always make all sorts of small mistakes, but when a saint-level master points them out, I’ll definitely correct them. I’ll definitely try my best to put aside all misunderstandings and get to know you again.”

Cromwell was stunned by Su Ye’s words. “Are you speaking the truth?”
